Wales Recreation Ground

Wales Recreation Ground in Rotherham has two full size tennis courts and two mini tennis courts. The courts were resurfaced in 2020 and one of the main courts and the mini courts now have state of the art LED floodlighting.

The courts have a porous tarmac surface and are now a fantastic place to play tennis. A new online court booking system has been put in place for one of the main courts, with the other being available on a turn up and play basis. The booking system will enable players to reserve a court in advance, to ensure the court is available when you arrive at the venue. If you forget to book then you can still access the website from your mobile phone by visiting the LTA Rally website.

A coaching programme will be launched at the venue over the coming weeks. Look out for the sessions, which will encourage players of all ages to develop their tennis skills and make the most of this fantastic local facility.

The venue has toilets in the adjacent Community Centre, as well as ample free parking. Enjoy your tennis!
