During the gradual lift of lockdown rules, tennis was reopened for members.

Here is what they had to say:

"We have just joined using the fantastic family membership offer. It’s been a real lifeline for us to use the courts the last week, it’s lifted our spirits to be able to do something we like and that’s normal."

"The kids have really enjoyed playing tennis this morning. Thanks to everyone at the club for making this happen, we're very grateful and booked ready to play next Saturday."

"Just wanted to say thanks for all the work that has gone into reopening the courts. We had a lovely afternoon and the booking worked really well."

"Fantastic, we're all looking forward to it. It will be a great thing for us as a family to do together."

"We've booked the courts a couple of times this week and had a great time. The boys, Carl and I have really enjoyed ourselves. 
Also just wanted to say how amazing the courts and the club is looking. You've all worked really hard and should be really proud of yourselves.

Message from the Chairman, Adrian

It has been a real joy to see the courts full with members, non-members, old and young, singles play and families. As some of our visitors have said, tennis and the club have given them a little bit of normality and an opportunity to exercise in the fresh air. During Mental Health week, this has come just at the right time to raise people's morale and support fitness levels. I hope the community continue to benefit from the game of tennis at Wall Heath Tennis Club. Like our visitors, I would like to say an enormous 'thank you' to the many people who volunteer to make the club a great place to play tennis.
