Nic has been an excellent development coach from day one. From my initial enquiry about joining WMTC with Nic's welcoming and swift response to my email, to signing my kids up for their first tennis lesson, Nic has been nothing but supportive and encouraging.

Before April 2023 my daughter had never even picked up a racket. Thanks to Nic's enjoyable and engaging girls-only development classes by August she'd entered her first LTA competition. Nic has made tennis my daughter's go-to sport and she loves it.

And a similar story with my son. Nic soon identified his love of sport and told me about the different LTA competitions in the Wirral she felt he'd benefit from. We wouldn't have known about this if Nic hadn't highlighted it. She has inspired mine and many more kids at the club. 

Nic is a clear mentor, leader and innovator at WMTC. She initiates a multitude of organised events from kids clubs, adult tennis training and fitness sessions, to fundraisers and much more. WMTC is very lucky to have her and every member has individually benefited from her input.

With Nicky's strong commitment to coaching she has inspired our whole family to want to improve and develop our tennis skills. She's made the club a very welcoming place for everyone. Always wanting to spread the word about the club and letting people know about the lessons and events we have. Her sessions are delivered with such creativity. Every lesson is different and fun yet managing to teach new and effective skills. You leave feeling invigorated and looking forward to the next session. 

She's encouraged my son to do the tennis leader course which he is thoroughly enjoying. It's great to see her in role reversal when the kids have to deliver a warm up session. Her valuable feedback and encouragement is very welcomed by them all. She makes it fun while still remaining very professional. 

She's a people person so is very easy to approach with any questions so customer service comes very natural to her. We are very lucky to have such a professional, skilled and fun coach at our club.

Nicky is a ‘One in a Million’ coach who always goes that extra mile. Nicky coaches my son who has additional needs she totally understands him and knows how to teach him new skills and how to bring the best out of his play. Coaching is not just a job for Nicky it’s a vocation. Her passion, dedication and commitment are outstanding.
