Latest match took place against t a very strong Hertfordshire side so no disgrace to lose 1-4 away in Harpenden.

Philip Shaw-Hamilton took on the first singles in a close match losing 2-6, 6-1, 0-1.

Richard Harris in the 2nd singles lost 6-2,6-4.

Dave Bradbury  and Andy Clifford  had a very close doubles winning 2-6,7-6,1-0

In the reverse doubles matches Richard and Philip lost 1-6,2-6 while Dave and Andy had a close match narrowly losing having run out of puff 5-7,

5-7.

Believe that this Hertfordshire side could be the strongest in Div 1(b) so good effort from everyone after a 2 hour drive. Thanks to Dave for stepping down to the o70’s (and for putting up with me!)
