Studley Tennis Club is a Community amateur sports club in the county of Warwickshire. The Facilities currently include a club-house and 2 flood-lit tarmac courts. The site is due to be redeveloped in the near future with plans to increase the size of the Tennis Club facilities.

Studley Tennis Club was established in 1947 and we currently function as a small and friendly club. We re-started offering tennis lessons in 2020 and have gradually built the programme of lessons available since then. STC is active in the local Tennis competitions and has teams competing in the Stratford District and Birmingham Leagues. As well as lessons and competitions, we also offer recreational tennis sessions for males only, females only and mixed. New members of all abilities are welcome at these sessions.

Studley Tennis Club is building awareness of the club in the local community, which has included taking part in local events, such as the remembrance Sunday parade. Last summer we held a 24 hour tennis match to raise money for Cancer Research. We raised £2,284.52 for the charity and are keen to hold similar events in the future.

We are seeking an LTA Level 2, or above, coach to take over, and continue to develop, a successful coaching business.  We would be willing to support the coach to progress in their own development, including working towards their level 3 qualification if they don’t already have this.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, passionate about tennis and excited to play a role in generating a lifelong love of tennis for existing and new players. We are looking for a coach who is self-motivated, autonomous and is able to engage all ages and abilities, individually and in groups. This will also need to be someone who can deliver an inclusive programme that recognises and caters for players with different motivations for playing. Excellent planning and administrative skills will be vital in ensuring that a comprehensive coaching programme is provided. The ideal person will be able to provide a high-quality customer experience, have a professional approach and strong communication skills. Studley tennis club is already working with local Schools to offer Tennis lessons during the school day and this is an area we would be keen for the coach to develop further.
