West Tanfield Memorial Tennis Club

The Club is located in the delightful village of West Tanfield on the banks of the River Ure, some 6 miles from Ripon. New members are always welcome

Location: On the right hand side of the A6108 Ripon to Masham road in centre of village behind the Village Memorial Hall.

Facilities: We have three recently refurbished all weather macadam courts and a clubhouse with changing rooms. We are open for play all the year round, weather permitting.

Courts are available to non-members booked through the West Tanfield Post Office at £10 per court on a pay-to-play basis

Clubspark: WTMTC uses Clubspark which is the LTA's online Club membership system. To join the Club and for specifics of the court booking facility please see details on the Membership page. 

Club night is held on Tuesday evenings during the summer months, from 6 p.m. Once the evenings become shorter this moves to a Saturday morning. Non-members are welcome to join in for a small £3 fee!

Social tennis sessions are on Monday and Thursday  mornings from 10 a.m. throughout the year and during the latter summer/winter months on Saturday monrnings from 10 a.m.  Non-members are welcome to join in for a small £3 fee!

League Tennis We enter a mixed team in the Harrogate & District Tennis League (HDTL) and a Ladies team in the Dales Ladies league.  On occasions the courts are reserved for HDTL and Dales Ladies matches. You will find details in the General Info section of the website where there is a link to the HDTL fixtures.
