WEST TANFIELD MEMORIAL TENNIS CLUB

The new season will soon be upon us and we look forward to warmer weather and those long summer evenings.

Winter tennis has been well supported and it is really positive to see our refurbished courts being used all year round.

Behind the scenes the Club have been developing a new website and we all express our gratitude to Bob Kyffin — Webmaster, Dennis Thompson — Assistant Webmaster and treasurer and Lesley Jones — Committee. We thank you all for bringing us into the modern era!. The work is almost complete and details of the website will be advised shortly.

Please note the following dates below:

Saturday 1st April — 10 am — Spring Clean

Tuesday 4th April — 6 pm — First Club night

Thursday 6th April — 6 pm

Club night combined with team practice throughout April

Sunday 23 rd April — 1 pm until 3 pm

Open afternoon followed by a communal tea

Everyone is welcome and our coach Ellie Makin will be there.

Sunday 30th April — 1.45 pm

American tournament followed by communal tea
