West Yorkshire Tennis Club

Established in 1962, West Yorkshire Tennis Club has been at the heart of the community for Sandal and surrounding areas for many years situated within the grounds of West Yorkshire Sports and Social Club.

The club welcomes any new members to come and join, with opportunites for social play, coaching, fun days and many more activities often hosted by out partners Wakefield School of Tennis.

WYTC offers  weekly coaching sessions across mini tennis, junior and adults. There is also the chance to play competitively, currently we have adult teams regularly competing across different leagues.

The link between WYTC and schools is strong from the  ongoing work with Wakefield School of Tennis. The club works closely with local primary and secondary schools offering tennis and multi-sport programmes from KS1 to KS4. In addition, the club provides very popular holiday camps during school holidays.

WYTC is centred around family and local community. The continued vision for the future is to get as many children and adults playing tennis by ensuring that what we offer is accessible and relevant for all.
