9. Building, Grounds, Maintenance, Security

Court 1 has been resurfaced this year and will be painted as soon as the weather warms up.

Willow tree behind court 3 has now be removed and birch trees have been trimmed.

Thanks were given to Anne for spending time cleaning the clubhouse. Please ensure you tidy up after yourselves to keep a pleasant environment for all.

Thanks were given to Declan for helping with spraying to get rid of the moss on the courts.

There is a significant build-up of moss on the clubhouse roof which will have to be cleaned.

The gardener has trimmed the hedges on the roadside. 

The hanging baskets that had been generously donated over the summer made an improvement to the area and a winter one has also been donated.

Planning application has been submitted and approved by the Council for floodlights on Court 1.  Thanks to Peter Hitchen and Steve Driver for their input into this application.  Steve Clarke will now check with the electrician as to his availability for completing this work.

10. Subscriptions

It was agreed that there would be no increase in subs for the coming year and to remain as follows:

Adult                               £120

Family – 2 adults            £245

Family – 1 adult             £160

Senior                              £80

Junior/Student                 £40

Young Adult                     £50

Parent Associate             £15

Match Fees are £3 per player per match – to be highlighted to all players asked to play in matches

Visitors Fee £2

Cans of balls available from Henry or Andrew and as from 1.4.23 they will be £5 per can as the cost to the club has been increased.
