Whimple Tennis Club is a community tennis club (CASC). It is run by volunteer members and although it is a private club operating on an annual membership basis, the fees are kept as low as possible.

There is just one tarmacadam court, in good condition and in a lovely rural setting.

There are many members who like to use the court for their own matches or to play with their family, but we also run social tennis sessions on Sunday mornings and Thursday evenings, where you can 'just turn up' and play mixed doubles on a rotation basis.

It operates on an annual membership basis, fees are kept as low as possible - it operates on a 'not for profit' basis, but we need to ensure there are enough funds for court resurfacing and perimeter fence replacement, which are required about every 20 years.

The land for the club was gifted by the Whiteways family, the Whimple cider makers, for the benefit of the community.
