Whimple Tennis Club is a CASC - A community amateur tennis club operating on a not for profit basis, run by volunteer members. 

Although it is a private club operating on an annual membership fee basis, the fees are kept low. 

There is just one tarmacadam court, in good condition and in a lovely rural setting.

Many of our members join just to use the court as their own private court for playing with friends and family, but we also run social tennis sessions on Sunday mornings and Thursday evenings, where players can 'just turn up', meet other players and play mixed doubles on a rotation basis.

The land for the club was gifted by the Whiteways family, the Whimple cider makers, for the benefit of the community and is owned by the Whimple Recreational Trust. Whimple Tennis Club is responsible for the upkeep of the court and grounds.

We have an online booking system, 2 LTA qualified coaches and run a few social events every year.
