Our first social event for a long time since Covid-19 restrictions have been eased. Members were treated to a glorious sunny and warm Sunday afternoon.  Twelve members played short sets of mixed doubles, and followed it up with drinks, nibbles and John's amazing Australian hotplate BBQ!  Winners on the day were Sue North and Richard Watson who both won a tub of home-grown beans! It was lovely for members to finally and legally be allowed to chat and mingle at the Clubhouse, it was great to talk after such a long time and without realising it, a couple of us talked way into in the evening and only realised it was late when it got dark! Many thanks to the tennis organisers (and our committee members) Pete Eade and Sue North, and John Ridge.
