Widnes Tennis Club is situated in secluded secure grounds with a warm and friendly atmosphere, the facility has six outdoor tennis courts and three indoor tennis courts, which means tennis and social events can take place all year round.

Here are some of the highlights of Widnes Tennis Club:

• The spacious clubhouse underwent a complete refurbishment in 2017 and now boasts bathroom and shower facilities, catering facilities, 'Cafe Deuce' and a large cafe/bar lounge area which offers a superb view of the indoor courts with our panoramic viewing windows.
• The club has invested in LED floodlighting for our all outoodr and indoor courts, offering a high specification and bright condition in which to play. We also re-painted our four outdoor hard courts in 2021. We are always looking for new ways in which to improve our club and are continuously invested in our facilities to make it the best possible place to play tennis in the area.
• Widnes Tennis Club is involved in the Warrington Tennis league with a number of teams competing in Men’s, Ladies, Mixed and Junior leagues, with the club having had some very successful seasons, winning numerous titles and competitions.
• We have a thriving junior side with many of our regularly competing Juniors enjoying success on both county and regional leader boards. We enjoy new achievements every season, with the future looking very bright indeed!  
• Regular coaching sessions are held throughout the year for juniors and adults, with dedicated professional tennis coaches readily available for individual tuition.
• Tennis equipment is available to borrow from the club and we can offer expert advice for the requirements of each individual. A racquet stringing service is also available.

A full and varied programme of tennis and non-tennis related social events take place all through the year and a well-established team of dedicated members ensure that the club and grounds are kept to a superb standard.
