Spring may have brought a "greatest hits" collection of weather - including chilly breezes, rain, and even a dash of hail - but it wasn’t enough to dampen the spirits at our recent Open Day.

From the get go, the courts were in use, with visitors taking on each other in rather breezy conditions. Members were on hand to welcome newcomers and make sure everyone could play, no matter their level, and it was great to see so many new faces stepping onto court, some for the very first time!

Some of our junior coaching regulars brought friends along to join the fun, splitting their time between the tennis court and the clubhouse's ping-pong table.

When the weather brought a break in play, the clubhouse was the place to be, with plenty of tea and cake to go round.

A massive thank you to everyone who braved the elements to discover our club. To our members: thank you for your warmth, your hospitality, and your baking skills!
