A warm welcome to Winscombe Tennis Club
New Head Coach Appointed & New Coaching Programme Starting 1st September
We are happy to announce that from September 1st Dominic Stones will be starting his role as our new Head Coach. Dominic will be offering a full junior programme and adult group/individual sessions. This includes a return of fan favourite cardio tennis. Details of junior and cardio sessions can be found here.
Dom will be at the club on the evenings of 13th, 14th and 15th August from 7pm. We’d like to encourage anyone interested in coaching to come along on those evenings to say hi to Dom and make him feel welcome at the club. He’ll be looking forward to meeting you all and understanding your coaching needs.
Winscombe Tennis Club, a welcoming tennis club based in North Somerset
We are based in the heart of Winscombe at the Memorial Playing Fields. We have 6 high quality hard courts, all of which are floodlit, together with a clubhouse.
The Clubhouse has a large seating area and kitchen area, both of which have recently been refurbished to a high standard. The Club also has full changing facilities.
The Club has an excellent social atmosphere, with tennis and food evenings, a number of club nights and several annual events. We have also have a junior programme developed by our head coach, Dominic Stones.
The club is a member of the North Somerset Tennis League, with both Men's and Ladies fielding several teams in the summer and winter (mixed) doubles leagues. There are plenty of opportunities to play competitive matches.
