Upcoming Open Day - Sunday 29th March 2026 - 1-4pm

Everyone is welcome to come and experience playing tennis at our tennis club. Meet our members and coaches. Our coaches will be running free coaching lessons on the day. We can provide rackets on the day.

Sign up offers are available on the day of 50% off our annual membership for all new members joining on the day.

SOCIAL TENNIS - FUN TOURNAMENTS

We have a few social tennis opportunities for different levels of players, these include.....

Saturday beginners and improvers 12 noon-1pm

Sunday afternoons from 1:30pm throughout the year. We often alternate these weeks with our club fun tournament.

Don’t worry about not having someone to play with... just come
along and join in.

The majority of tournaments are American style tournaments, where you play with a different partner for each round and tally up games won rather than sets won.

OPEN DAYS

We usually hold a couple of open days a year. This is for anyone interested in wanting to play tennis to come to the club and have a practice on the courts and have a look around at our club facilities. We will have members available for any membership enquiries you have along with our coach who will run some free coaching sessions on the day.

TEAMS - WARRINGTON LEAGUE

Winstanley Tennis Club compete in doubles league match play and have Ladies, Gents and Mixed teams.

Ladies match nights are from 14th April on Tuesday evenings and play is from 6:30 and usually finishes around 9pm. We have teams in Division 3+4

Gents match night are from the 16th April on Thursday evenings, with play starting at 6:30 and finishing around 9pm. Our 1st team has just won promotion and will be competing in Division 3 with the aim to win the league once again, with our other teams in Division 5+7

Mixed teams nights start in mid August and are on Tue and Thurs evenings, with play starting at 6:30 and finishing around 9pm. We have teams in Division 3+4

We also have a Winter League Team.

LANCASHIRE TEAM TENNIS - Singles and Doubles.

This is our 1st year entering this tournament, which starts in March. We will compete against other clubs in singles and doubles matches that are all LTA tournament awarded competitions.
