Wokingham Tennis Club takes Safeguarding extremely seriously and has policies and procedures to support and promote the welfare all children, young people and adults at risk.

In addition:

• We appoint a Welfare Officer (currently Niall Collier) whose role is to ensure our Safeguarding policies and procedures are met and re-enforced. Niall can be contacted on 07990 984743.
• All the Club's Committee have undertaken Safeguarding training provided by the LTA.
• Safeguarding is an Agenda item at every Committee Meeting.
• DBS background checks are completed by all of our Coaching Team as well as any Club Member whose role involves working with Children, Young People or Vulnerable Adults.
