Congratulations Claire Wilson!

We are delighted to share that Claire Wilson, Vice Chairperson for Membership at Wombourne Tennis Club, has been named Staffordshire LTA Cathie Sabin Volunteer of the Year.

Claire plays a vital role at the heart of our club — managing membership, supporting new and existing players, and leading brilliant junior and family events that help make Wombourne such a welcoming and inclusive tennis community.

Reflecting on the award, Ade Jeavons, Chairperson of Wombourne Tennis Club, said: “Claire has become an integral part of our committee, club’s membership and junior engagement. This award recognises not just how much Claire does, but the positive difference she makes to the experience of our members and their families every single day.”
