Woolton Hill Sports Club

Established in 1947, we pride ourselves on being a friendly club offering tennis and table tennis membership.

Located in a tranquil and picturesque setting in the village of Woolton Hill, just south of Newbury, the Club has three LED floodlit hard courts and a small practice court with a hitting wall. All were resurfaced and painted in Summer 2023.

Year round, our highly experienced and enthusiastic coaches, Mike and Patrick, provide group and private coaching right across the age spectrum.  Mike is a qualified racket stringer, who can help you choose the best option for your game.

Throughout the autumn, winter and spring a lively programme of men’s, ladies’ and social mixed doubles sessions in the evening is sustained, along with many daytime fours. 

In the summer match season, our teams play in several local leagues.  Consequently, there is tennis at different levels, on different days of the week and in different formats!

The table tennis section has several teams playing in a variety of divisions. Monday evening is the table tennis social session in the Clubhouse.

Whether you are a seasoned player, a family looking for an activity everyone can enjoy, or a beginner, we guarantee to have something for everyone.
