28 ladies from 11 different tennis clubs gathered to take part in our 9th annual Ladies Tournament and the weather was agreeably warm and sunny as entrants battled their way through 7 Round Robin rounds, with the top 4 pairs from each of the two leagues then progressing to the knock-out stages.  Eventual winners were Jean Brayshay & Tracey Billingham from Stourbridge club, with Worcester’s own Jan Mason & Angie Street as Runners-up.  Prizes were presented by club President, Ray Needham, before everyone sat down to a well-earned lunch.
