Membership
New members, of all ages and standards, are always welcome. We have no 'playing in' policy as our aim is to provide a village amenity and we offer membership categories to suit all needs. Your membership will start on the day you join, and last 12 months.
Please note we are a "members only" club. Members can play other members or attend club sessions at no additional cost. Members are allowed to play with non members, i.e. guests up to 4 times with a fee of £2 an hour. Guests then need to become members if they wish to continue playing.
Please also note our booking system allows limited access for non-members on court 2 at a charge of £8 per hour.
Memberships
1. FULL ADULT
12 months membership
Annual fee of £99. Payment for first year only includes an additional joining fee of £15.
Eligibility: Any Adult 25 and over
1a FULL ADULT - NHS Discount
12 months membership
Annual fee of £79 is a 20% discount from full Adult membership. No joining fee.
Eligibility: NHS employee. NHS e-mail required for proof.
1b FULL ADULT - Disabled Discount
12 months membership
Annual fee of £40. Includes a free carer and no joining fee.
Eligibility: Play is allowed Monday, Wednesday and Friday 1pm - 5pm, Tuesday and Thursday 7am - 5pm, Saturday 1pm - 10pm and Sunday 7am - 10pm
2. FAMILY
12 months membership
Annual fee of £198.00. Payment for first year only includes an additional joining fee of £30
Eligibility: A family comprising 2 adults and any number of juniors and full time students under 25 living at the same address
3. FAMILY - one playing parent
12 months membership
Annual fee of £144.00. Payment for first year only includes an additional joining fee of £15
Eligibility: A family comprising 1 adult and any number of juniors and full time students under 25 living at the same address
4. OFF PEAK
12 months membership
Annual fee of £60. Payment for first year only includes an additional joining fee of £15
Eligibility: Adult to play only Monday - Friday 9.00-5.00 pm
5. YOUNG ADULT
12 months membership
Any person 18 - 24. No joining fee
Eligibility: Based on age at date of joining
6. STUDENT
12 months membership
Full time student aged 18 - 24. No joining fee.
Eligibility: Based on age at date of joining. Proof of being a student required - eg Student Card
7. JUNIOR AGED 9 - 17
12 months membership
Juniors aged 9 - 17. No joining fee. No floodlights allowed, unless exemption applied for from Membership Secretary
Eligibility: Based on age at date of joining
8. CHILD AGED 8 & UNDER
12 months membership
Child aged 8 and under. No joining fee. No floodlights allowed, unless exemption applied for from Membership Secretary
Eligibility: Based on age at date of joining
9. PARENT TO PLAY WITH CHILD OR JUNIOR
12 months membership
A parent who only wished to play with their child and not in their own right at adult club sessions or with other adults. No joining fee. No floodlights allowed, unless exemption applied for from Membership Secretary
Eligibility: Junior and/or child membership is additionally required.
