The Club held a Christmas Lunch on Monday 22nd December which provided a wonderful opportunity to share a celebration to mark the 90th birthday of one of our members, John Corbett.    This was done in a ‘This is Your Life’ format and thanks to contributions from many people/organisations with which John had been involved during his lifetime, we learned so many interesting facts about him and how much he had contributed to public service.   He is a really SPECIAL guy (demonstrated by the number of members who attended) whom we are delighted to appoint as an honorary member of  the Club.
