Zak Williams Tennis Coaching

I first picked up a racket when I was 5 years old and my love for the game has grown year on year. I enjoy competitive tennis and compete in national leagues and play division 1 PLC doubles with Alex Mullins. However what drives me the most is seeing players of all ages getting on court, learning new skills, keeping fit and having fun.

I am a level 3 LTA accredited + coach with six years of coaching experience. I currently coach children up to county level and adults to advanced match play.  

Our programmes at our clubs (Market Drayton and Wrenbury Tennis Club) aim to deliver quality coaching for players at all levels. The clubs are very welcoming with great social events both on and off courts.

Alex Mullins - Level 1 (Taking Level 2)

Tennis has, for as long as I can remember, been a sport I have loved to both play and watch. Over time, it has become more, and more a part of my life and have taken it further as I have improved. The competitive side is something now I have begun to explore and currently play in the PLC in Division 1 as well as represent Wrenbury Tennis club in some competitions they have been a part of. The move into coaching comes from a passion for wanting to see people grow and excel in things they enjoy. Having recently come out of teaching, this opportunity will enable me to continue to follow this passion and help and guide anyone new to tennis or those that want to hone their skills and improve further.

Hannah Johnson - Level 1

I have always enjoyed playing sport from a young age such as netball, dance and rounders so have chosen to take it further with the courses I am studying at Shrewsbury sixth form college. I am doing PE, biology and psychology A levels and hope to go onto university to study sports therapy. This coaching qualification will help me to build my confidence and improve my knowledge of tennis as a whole as well as giving me a further insight into coaching. I am looking forward to seeing where this will take me.
