Aberaeron Sports Club

This is the oldest sporting club in Aberaeron, with facilities second to none, in the beautiful harbour town of Aberaeron, situated on the coast of Cardigan Bay.

The Club is situated near the River Aeron, shadowed by magnificent woodland and within a five minute leisurely walk to the centre of the town.

The tennis section of the Club has been in existence since 1882.  

There are three hard tennis courts, two of which are floodlit.  The Club has a mens team which plays in the South Wales League.  The ladies have a team which plays in the West Wales League.  The Club have weekly Club evenings for men, ladies and mixed as well as coaching for children of all ages.

The bowling section celebrated its centenary in 2012 and has a mens and ladies section.  The bowling green has a reputation of being one of the finest in Wales staging County and National events.   The men have two teams as do the ladies, with competitive matches played from May until September.  The Club also has a local league held usually on Friday evenings and numerous Club competitions culminating in the popular finals week held in September.

The playing facilities are complemented by an equally magnificent Clubhouse with its own bar, lounge area, changing rooms and kitchen facilities.  There is also ample parking within the grounds of the Club and access is adapted for the disabled.
