David and Nick attended a coach education course at Bromley with the famous Dan Bloxham (the coach at Wimbledon who leads the finalists out onto the centre courts).
He is also a fantastic tennis coach specialising in school lessons, getting big groups of children learning tennis in often cramped school playgrounds or halls.
Dan is a hilarious and professional person and although he had some brilliant ideas on organising players, good games and activities, it was clear that success in schools is more about the coach's enthusiasm, love for tennis and ability to inspire children.
We are looking forward to using these skills in our forthcoming school lessons!
