About Us
Andrew Disney (LTA Level 3 Accredited + Coach)
I am a friendly, approachable and colourful coach. I am happy to teach players of any age and ability. I am committed to help each player improve and develop their game to the best it can be. I have been playing tennis since I was 11 years old and I love everything about the sport, from the all round fitness, to the mental challenges you face against tricky opponents. My favourite shots are the serve and backhand.
Growing up in Wivey will always mean that it’s home to me, so I was delighted when the opportunity arose to coach at the club. I have been coaching for eight years; building my skills throughout that time by also coaching at Minehead Tennis Club and Ilminster Bowls and Tennis Club.
When I'm not on court I'm a big basketball and rugby fan and try to watch as much as possible. I also like being outdoors and listening to music.
