As is tradition, the Club celebrated the start of the new season by holding its Opening Lunch on Sunday 17th April 2016.  The event was extremely well supported and proved a huge success, everyone enjoying the day.

Gill and Pauline of the Social Comittee excelled themselves in producing a first rate buffet lunch for attendees, they worked tirelessly throughout the day and the Club is extremely grateful for their efforts.  Well done Ladies.

Thanks also to Club Coach Karen for running the American Tournament, a traditional feature of the Opening Lunch.  We were very fortunate to enjoy some nice weather, which we hope is a good omen for the rest of the season.

The event attracted a record attendance and it was really pleasing to see it supported by such a broad cross section of members, their families and friends.  It was great to see so many youngsters at the event and a number of the Bridge Members too.

To all the members who were able to attend, thank you for your valuable support - these events really make a difference in helping the Club's Committee maintain a first rate tennis and social facility for its members.
