Gillian Mcilroy starts as our Club Coach on 23rd August. Gillian brings a wealth of experience to the role having coached at all levels from beginners to performance players. She is a Level 4 Senior Performance Coach and has been responsible for producing regional players from the mini tennis programme at Prestwick TC. She has run LTA initiatives like “Miss Hits” and “She Rallies” to attract girls into tennis and is committed to increasing our junior membership and catering to all standards.

Gillian is no stranger to Ayr Lawn having been a member in her teenage years and playing for our  first team, way back. She has organised minileagues, junior competition and the Prestwick Ladies teams and has represented and captained Junior and Senior Teams for the South of Scotland County.

On her new Coaching Programme at Ayr Lawn, Gillian says:

“I am delighted to be starting my new role at Ayr Lawn Tennis Club. Gillian Mcilroy Tennis will be providing everything from Tots tennis, Mini tennis, Yellow ball, Adults, Doubles Clinics, through to Individual lessons and Restringing services”.
