Beacons Tennis Academy provides tennis coaching to all ages in Abergavenny, Crickhowell and Penpergym, South Wales.  We have an excellent team of coaches providing group, individual and performance coaching at all our venues.

TENNIS XPRESS COURSE NOW STARTS on Friday 12th April 2024

It's a beginners/ returning players to tennis coaching course. We cover all the basic technique of all the shots; we build up consistency and accuracy; and we begin singles and doubles matchplay. It's 8 weekly session on Fridays at 6-7pm. You can attend the course as a non member.  If you attend the Tennis Xpress Course, there is NO joining fee when you become a member of Abergavenny Tennis Club. 

ABERGAVENNY SUMMER TERM DATES & COACHING GROUPS - Mon 8th April up until Friday 12 th July  ( unless adverse weather conditions).There will be 1 free/ rained off sessions included in this term. You pay for 12 of the 13 sessions this term. 

MONDAY SESSIONS for advanced tennis players

4.30-5.30pm advanced mini ages 9 to 12 years

5.30 -6.30pm advanced players aged 13 to 17 years

6.30-7.30pm advanced players U18 & Team Adult players

WEDNESDAY SESSIONS : 2 coaches allow these groups to be split into 2 ability groups

3.45-4.30pm -  Mini red tennis players ages 4 to 7

4.30-5.15pm  - Mini orange and green players ages 8 to 11

5.15 to 6.15pm - Yellow Ball Players ages 11 to 15 

6.15-7.15pm - Intermediate Adults coaching group 

THURSDAY SESSIONS: 2 coaches allow these groups to be split into 2 ability groups

Thursdays adult intermediate/ advanced level  'pay & play' session  £9  for an hour of coaching  ( you pay after the session) 

4-4.45pm -  Mini red tennis players ages 4 to 7

5-6pm - Yellow Ball Players ages 12 to 16

FRIDAY SESSIONS; 2 coaches allow these groups to be split into 2 ability groups

4.15-5pm -Mini orange and green players ages 8 to 11

6-7pm - ADULT TENNIS XPRESS for BEGINNERS

CRICKHOWELL SUMMER TERM DATES & COACHING GROUP  - 9th April to 9th July ( 13 weeks)

Tuesday : 4.30 - 5.15pm     mini red/ orange ball  players  ( ages 6 -10)

Tuesday : 5.15 -6pm Teens  (ages 11 to 15)

Tuesday: 6-7pm older teens & adults  (16+)
