Covid Regulations - Club Re-opening

 Club is able to re-open on March 29th 2021 following LTA guidelines. Singles and doubles - rule of 6 applies

COVID  19  UPDATE      11th March 2021

Restricted Play Rules updated  - 

If you wish to play  you will need to take the following actions and read the guidance  for players on the LTA website.

1.  Book a court using the club website booking system - Add all players to your booking for Test  & Trace

2.  Doubles play now allowed  - rule of 6 applies

2.  Bring your own equipment  and clean it regularly

3. Bring sanitiser and follow the governments hygiene protocols

4. Stay 2 metres away from any other player and take note of any further notices posted at the club

5. Clubhoue can be used for toilets only - use the disabled toilet - don't use the changing rooms or kitchen

6. To reduce contact time arrive no more that 5 minutes before your start time and leave promptly

7.  Do not come to the club if anyone in your household shows any symtoms of Covid 19

The home of Beverley & East Riding Lawn Tennis Club is on Seven Corners Lane in the heart of Beverley, off North Bar Without and York Road.
The Club provides year round tennis on seven all weather artificial grass courts, two with floodlights.
Men's, ladies, mixed and junior teams all play in local leagues.
We have a very healthy membership base each year, with around half of the members juniors.

  • Coaching is always available and is provided free to our junior members each spring as part of our commitment to junior development.  Adult coaching is also available - contact Tom Davies for more details 07976 189671.
  • The Club caters for all standards of play and time is reserved each week for social tennis.
  • The Club is represented by a number of teams playing in three local leagues and has a Men's doubles team who have been champions of Division One of the Yorkshire League on 3 occasions as well as a Men’s National League Team. 
  • A number of social events take place during the year and have included quizzes, meals at local restaurants, BBQs and treasure hunts.
  • Beverley and East Riding LTC is affiliated to the Lawn Tennis Association. The Club is a designated Community Amateur Sports Club and is recognised by the East Riding Club Accreditation Scheme. The Club achieved LTA Clubmark accreditation in 2008 for the first time.
  • Beverley & East Riding LTC has achieved all the requirments in regard to safeguarding and health and satety as laid down by both the LTA and East Riding ERCAS
