Match practices (Men & Ladies) + Weeknight social tennis - update

As our season is now well underway formal match practice nights will cease at the end of April. However, please note that we will continue to hold less formal men's nights on Wednesday evenings and ladies nights on Thursday evenings. These will commence Wednesday May 8th and Thursday May 9th respectively from 6.30pm. We hope these will be well supported and what many requested following the BLTC end of season survey. All members are welcome and you do not need to be playing for teams to come along. Juniors should check with our Head Coach Hannah and will need to be full ball competent.

Mid-week Social Tennis:

Sunday social tennis is already a mainstay in the club calendar but we are extending this to now run a mid-week social tennis evening. This starts on Tuesday May 7th from 6.30pm and on Tuesday evenings thereafter. Again all adult members are welcome and the same criteria operates for junior members as above. 

Ball Machine Offer

Another way of getting yourselves back into the swing is by booking out our ball machine, Roger Feederer for an hour. During May this will be available at the 50% discounted price of £2.50 per hour! Simply book it out in addition to booking your court. (There’s a separate column for the ball machine.) You will need to have a short tutorial on how to use it if you haven’t already had one, or you need a refresher. To book this tutorial, contact us at boldon.ltc@outlook.com

Clubwear

We have added another top to the ladies section, shown on the right  -> A polyester French Terry hoodie with reflective sleeve tape, an inner MP3 pocket and thumbholes in the cuff. This retails at £26. It will come with the club logo already applied and optional initials for an extra £1. Please let us know if you don’t want the club logo on.

There has been a flood of orders for our Team Boldon tops which are now on the way. All tops will be ordered monthly to save on postage costs, and the next order will go in on 15th May. It’s not too late to order your Team Boldon top (You don’t have to be playing on a team to have one of these!) This is item JH006 and will come with Team Boldon on the back, the club logo and up to 3 initials on the front at a discounted price of £20. The order form for this is attached.
