Summer tournament

This year’s summer tournament is now underway. The draw and handicaps can be found here. A printed copy will also be in the clubhouse.

It’s your responsibility to arrange the matches so please start contacting players and setting dates and booking courts for games. There is always a rush toward the deadline dates so we suggest arranging matches as quickly as possible.

After each match please record the result in the clubhouse.

If you haven’t done so already please ensure you pay your £5 entry fee into the club bank account. (HSBC business account: Sort code 40-43-24, a/c no. 40166715, ref tourney.)

Fence repair

We have just had word that the second attempt at repairing the fence on court 5 will take place this Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd June. Courts 4 and 5 will be closed between 8am and 5pm on those dates. The car park will be closed too. Please take care if you’re going down to the bottom courts to play on those days. You will need to walk across courts 4 and 5 towards the farmer’s field and use the gate on that side to access courts 1, 2 and 3. Thank you.
 

Race Night Saturday 16th August @ 7pm

The next social night (after next weekend’s sold out Ladies’ Afternoon Tea,) is our Race Night. This time we will be serving home made soup and stotties! Tickets are £6 each. Bring your own drinks and come and have a flutter. For tickets email us at boldon.ltc@outlook.com as soon as possible and pay your money into the usual bank account with the reference Race Night. Raffle prizes

We are always on the lookout for raffle prizes for our various events, especially for the Awards Night in October. If you have something to donate, please let us know at boldon.ltc@outlook.com and one of our committee members will arrange collection. Thank you.
