Indian themed Quiz Night
This is the last chance to book tickets for our Quiz Night next Saturday 20th July! The price of £10 each includes delicious home-made food and entry to the quiz hosted by Quiz Master Extraordinaire, Phil. Bring your own drink as usual. Email boldon.ltc@outlook.com to book your tickets then pay your money into the usual bank account with the ref. quiz night. See you there!
Pre-loved Rail
Our new “previously loved” rail is up and running at the club. There’s a growing collection of nearly new tennis gear to browse through. All we ask is for a small donation to the usual bank a/c with the ref “pre loved”, or pop some money in the Guest Money Box in the lights cupboard in the porch if you take something from the rail for yourself.
If you have any washed tennis kit which is still in good condition, but maybe you’ve grown out of it, you no longer like it or for whatever reason you no longer want it, bring it down to the club to put on the rail as it may be perfect for somebody else. We could do with a few more men’s items so check your wardrobes!
Reminder about Ball Machine
If you want to use our ball machine, Roger Feederer, please remember that there is a £5 charge for this, paid into the usual bank account with the reference ball machine, and also it should be booked out when you book your court. There is a separate column in the Booking System for this. You will need to have an induction session with Carol before you use it for the first time, during which time she will explain about how to move it safely in and out of the clubhouse, about the different settings which are available and how to use the app which you can get on your phone. Contact her at boldon.ltc@outook.com to book a time. There is a box of balls available, specifically for the ball machine, in the clubhouse. Do not use the ball machine in damp conditions, as the fluff from the balls clogs up the workings. Thank you.
