Ale Trail

We’re now collecting names/numbers for our ale trail on Saturday 3rd August. This is followed by an optional curry, which is why we need numbers. Probably starting at the Steamboat at 4pm then various other hostelries in South Shields, finishing off with a curry at Radhuni on Ocean Road around 7pm. To book your place, reply to this email. (boldon.ltc@outlook.com)

Pre-loved Rail

Our new “previously loved” rail is up and running at the club. There’s a growing collection of nearly new tennis gear to browse through. There’s a nice tennis bag there too! All we ask is for a small donation to the usual bank a/c with the ref “pre loved”, or pop some money in the Guest Money Box in the lights cupboard in the porch if you take something from the rail for yourself.

If you have any washed tennis kit which is still in good condition, but maybe you’ve grown out of it, you no longer like it or for whatever reason you no longer want it, bring it down to the club to put on the rail as it may be perfect for somebody else. We could do with a few more men’s items so check your wardrobes!
