Thanks to Martin & Margaret for keeping the club grass cut (fantastic stripes Martin!) and weeds pulled out.

Grassy area:  We are so lucky to have this lawn at Bovingdon, but we don't use it.  We are looking for suggestions from members about how we can best utilise it whilst keeping it looking nice.  Ideas include an outdoor brick built BBQ, a basketball hoop, an outdoor table tennis table (very expensive).  Please email your suggestions to  rebrose11@sky.com

Financial news:   We have received a £10K Business Support Grant from the government.   The grant will help cover what we lose from subs this year and also what we would normally have coming in from Saturday junior coaching.  Once we know what date we can reopen, we will let members know the revised membership rate.

Facilities news:  A new lawnmower has been purchased for the club to replace the old broken one.

Courts 1 - 3 and the mini court will be painted this month.  Photos to follow!

Tennis Strand:  The tennis strand has been divided into two because this is too big a job for one person. Craig will oversee the Coaching side and Rebecca the Social/Competitive side (with Craig as adviser)- but this will be very much
member run: Ali is the new Team Captain overseeing external matches, Ian- Club Champs, Steve Spikings- Box Leagues, John Wareham & Karen Ferguson- American tournaments and so on.

We have two new subgroups: The Social Media group which has 8
people on it (including Craig & Rebecca), and a Tennis Sub-Group with 8 (including Craig & Rebecca) different members. This latter group will make the decisions on anything tennis- for example the imminent decision about a whether we hold a Club Champs tournament this year or whether we look at alternatives.
