David's Marathon Match

David's marathon 12 hour match this year takes place on Sat April 29th. Raising funds to help him take some budding young coaches to Kosovo to deliver an amazing tennis experience to children and families much less fortunate than ourselves.

The competition starts at 7am. Which some of you may feel is a little early; but you risk missing out on an epic opening encounter with David, Nick Gilbert, Gary Black and Paul Harris. Their regular Saturday morning sessions are rarely without amusing incident, and this matchup won't be any different. 

Other highlights not to be missed are David & Maria taking on our reigning mixed doubles champions Guy Johnson and Liz Baker. Later, David subjects himself to four hours of singles against some of the best players from the club and a fellow coach.

Then David is attempting to carry Steve Coleman through a doubles match against our reigning doubles champions, Dave Barker and Laurence Rayburn.

Put the date in your diary, head down to BBLTC to watch the action. Contributions are invited to the raffle and there will be an opportunity to make donations to this fantastic cause.
