Congratulations to Phillipa Hayton and Rob Melling who won the Centenary running of the club's long standing tradition Louden Tournament in the opening tournament of our season.

First competed for in 1922, this event was rain delayed from last October. The trophy and club honours board are littered with notable names from the club's history. 

The competition operates a rolling handicap which ensures lots of close matches and this event was no different, 

Rob and Phillipa joined the list of winners by pipping Laurence Rayburn and Ann Smalldridge in a closely contested final that went to a tie-break.

The semi finals and final were a great spectacle watched by the majority of the day's competitors, while enjoying the fabulous cakes. donated for the day by several players.
