Junior Achievements over the past year

Here is an extract from the Brooklands Annual Report March 2022 on our juniors' achievements this past year.

Andy Brisdon - 17 years old:

Andy gained his first world singles ranking in the ITF in Edinburgh, reaching the QF and doubles points in Liverpool (Mason Dace). In Loughborough he beat a player ranked 384. He is currently ranked at 1128 in the world.
Qualified for the main draw in three British Tours attained 3 singles points.
Won the 18US and Men’s singles at the North 2021 Clay court Championships, straight set wins for both singles matches.
Won the 18US in Hull and finalist in the 18UD (Thomas Giles).
Won the 18US and 18UD (Ethan Barrett) at Cheshire Junior County Championship, straight set wins for both singles and doubles.
Won the Men’s D (Oliver Hague) at the Cheshire Ladies & Men’s County Closed Championship. Andy & Oli were the youngest pair ever to have won the title (aged 16 & 15 respectively). Reached the SF of the Men’s singles.
Was selected to be part of the team, in the LTA Men’s Winter County Cup in Grantham. The Cheshire team were promoted Group 1.
Currently LTA ranked at 18U Boys 36 & Open Male 187

Selected by the LTA National Coaches to be on the U14s Player Pathway scheme

Winner Grade 4 11U North Tour at The Northern
Winner Grade 4 11U DL Manchester North Open
Winner Grade 3 10U North 2021 Clay court Championships
Winner Grade 3 10U Bolton Arena Grand Prix
