'Play Your Way to Wimbledon' (PYWTW) is an amazing opportunity for junior tennis players in schools and clubs to compete and for winners to reach the national finals and play at Wimbledon. Those who make it to play in the finals of the competition at Wimbledon also get a tour of the facility, including areas the general public don't see and the opportunity to meet a tennis star.

The club's last event took place on 27th May 2023 when the three qualified juniors competed for a place in the County Finals.  Edward, Tom and Zach played a round robin and the winner, Edward, went through to the second stage - the county competition. The winner of that event competed in the national finals at Wimbledon in August 2023.

The photograph above shows the three junior boys competitiors and Deya, who competed and won a 'round robin' event on the day with club coach Dave Morris.

The PYWTW event has now been extended to teenagers and adults with pathways for players in the following groups and ITF World Tennis Numbers:

14U Singles ITF 32.0-40.9

18U Doubles ITF 28.0-40.9

19+ Doubles ITF 25.0-40.9

As before, all winner(s) progress through County Singles / Area Doubles and, ultimately, the National Finalsls at Wimbledon.
