Programme for 2024

Throughout the year we run several intra club tournaments for our members.  These are fun, social occasions and a good way to play with different abilities.  A handicap system is sometimes used to even the field.  The following are open to adults and Juniors who are playing Yellow ball and are Age 14+.

Sunday 24th March - “Eggs, Bunnies & Bonnets!”  Easter theme. (Easter Sunday is 31st March).

Sunday 19th May -  “Croissants, Baguettes & Brie”  French theme to celebrate Roland Garros tournament (20th May - 9th June).

Sunday 30th June -  “Strawberries & Cream” Traditional whites to celebrate Wimbledon tournament (1st July - 14th July).

Sunday 25th August - “Red, White & Blue” American theme to celebrate US Open tournament (26th August - 8th Sept).

Sunday 1st December - “Mulled Wine & Tinsel” getting into the Christmas spirit.

For those members who want a little more competition we run our club championships tournament.   

Sunday 6th October (13th October reserve date)  - Calne Tennis Club Championships Finals (age 16+).

• Men’s & Ladies Singles & Doubles and Mixed Doubles.
• Entries close - May 28th.
• Preliminary rounds - 1st June - 30th September.

Juniors - programme to be decided. 

Possible Inter-Club Tournament(s) Home and Away with selected local Club(s).

Possible matchplay.
