Tennis Coaching Team

Our World Class team of Coaches are all LTA Accredited, which means they have up to date DBS and First Aid Certificates, Safeguarding training, and regularly attend CPD courses to continually develop their knowledge and skills.

The Team:

Rob Ellis -   Tennis Director and Founder. 

Rob has a BA (Hons) in Sports Management and has successfully managed Tennis Programmes across the UK since the turn of the Millenium.   Rob launched Cambridge Tennis Academy in July 2015 and is passionate about running an inclusive Tennis Academy, giving everyone the opportunity to learn and play tennis in a welcoming and fun environment. Rob is an LTA Accredited + Level 5 Master Club Coach and won Cambridgeshire LTA Coach of the Year 2016.  

In addition to Cambridge Tennis Academy, Rob helped setup Parktennis in 2014 which is non-profit organisation that aims to break down the barriers to playing tennis and encourage healthy active lifestyles.
