The Club’s logo has changed to create a modern identity that is as unique as Camvale Tennis Club itself.
Our new logo will start to appear across all things Camvale, including Club signage, the website, social media, and letterheads. We’ll also be introducing new Club clothing in the near future, including t-shirts, polos, jackets, and hoodies.
Over the next few months, you’ll start to see these changes come to life. A brand-new Club sign will be at the main entrance, designed to be larger and more eye-catching from the roadside, helping to elevate our presence for visitors and potential new members. The sign on the side of the coaching shed will also be updated to feature the new logo and contact details.
We hope that the "new" look reflects our shared ambition to continue building a strong future for the Club, welcoming new faces while maintaining the friendly atmosphere and high-quality tennis facilities that our members value.
A closer look at the new logo:
- While retaining Camvale’s historic green lettering, the new circular emblem allows the logo to be used consistently across all areas of the Club. You’ll notice the distinctive wavy lines at the bottom, these are a subtle nod to our beautiful surroundings, which are central to our identity.
- Our landscape also inspired the name “Camvale”; “Cam” referencing the nearby Cam Brook, and “Vale” describing the low-lying valley between the surrounding hills.
- The logo also proudly features the date when we were first established, 1947, when the Club was formerly known as Purnells Tennis Club. We’re looking to celebrating our 80th anniversary in 2027!
