Christmas comes early to Cerney Lakes Tennis Club!

In the dead of the night, a lone scarlet-clad figure was reportedly seen, sliding slowly down the side of the small Clubhouse roof.

Mark Stephens,our men’s captain and resident plumber, was the first on the scene.  Discovering a neatly wrapped shiny white toilet, he set to work!

We are all thrilled - our very own loo! Thankyou, Santa!

I am told that Mark wrote the note and sent it up the chimney (but this may be only a rumour). 

He has, however, admitted to the fact that he exercised plumbers' privilege, and spent the first penny!

Children in Need Bake a Cake & spend some dosh!

This brilliant event was organised by Karen, see above holding one of the many fab cakes baked and sold on the day.  

We raised £130 and had lots of cream, sponge, jam and chocolate - my kind of roll-up!
