How do I get tickets for Wimbledon?

To apply for the public ballot first register at https://www.wimbledon.com/en_GB/tickets/the_wimbledon_public_ballot.html.  You can also apply through the club ballot where you have a higher chance of being allocated tickets for Wimbledon than through the public ballot.  To do this:

• Go to www2.lta.org.uk/advantage/ and register if you haven't already.  Remember to select CONGRESBURY TENNIS CLUB as your registered LTA club.
• Once registered, don’t forget to also ‘Opt in’ to the Ballot - you have to do this every year!
• It is free to join as a club member and als ogives you the opportunity to purchase tickets for other major events

The club has no control over ticket allocations, we are not informed who has got tickets, and if you decline your tickets they automatically go back to the LTA to reallocate. 

The LTA says that there is still an opt-in for members as they know not all LTA Advantage members are interested in going to Wimbledon.  They also make it clear that if a member declines tickets or missed the payment deadline the tickets are returned to the central ballow and reballoted - i.e. not to someone else in the club.
