Court Rules
For everyone’s enjoyment and safety, using our courts is subject to the following rules:
- Be courteous All players must set a good example of Fair Play.
- Be considerate of our neighbours.
- Wear appropriate footwear.
- Under 16s must be supervised By a parent / guardian at all times.
- Keep the Courts clear Please take home what you bring (incl. litter and balls).
- Gates Please close the gates when you enter and leave, reset nets after your game and lock the gates if you are the last to leave.
- Not permitted on Court no glass, alcohol, food, smoking/vaping, dogs or other animals, ball games except tennis, wheeled toys/bikes or music please
- Keep your belongings safe Coxwold Tennis Club regrets it cannot accept liability for lost, stolen or damaged property.
- Players with bookings and Club events take priority But please be accommodating to “drop ins” so as many people as possible can play.
- Do not play if it is not safe to do so Do not play in poor weather or dangerous conditions or if equipment is damaged.
- Players play at their own risk Players must always use common sense and not play in a way that causes damage or injury to themselves or others.
- Please report damage and other issues on the Club WhatsApp or by emailing the Committee on coxwoldtc@gmail.com.
