Find Us
Select the "How to Find Us" menu item to see a map of our location on the Sports Ground behind the Feathers and the Coach and Horses pubs. Two hard surface tennis courts are available to members and non-members (for a separate fee). There is a dedicated car park off Manor Road. The courts have floodlights for which there is a small fee outside of club sessions and matches (£5 per hour for members; £8 per hour for non-members). We have access to the pavilion for the use of the toilets - the key to the pavilion is in the same keybox as the key to the courts.
Club sessions
Sunday mornings 10 - 12, starting after Easter. These are fun, non-competitive sessions open to all to come along and meet other members. WhatsApp groups available to coordinate attendance.
COVID-19- tennis is a naturally socially distant sport and relatively low risk activity, there are no longer any restrictions on how many people can take part in tennis activity, indoors or outdoors. However, please read the latest LTA guidance ( click here ) and continue to be vigilant. If you, or anyone you live with, have any symptoms you should not attend any activity at the Club. Please also continue to practise good hygiene measures. It is advisable to book courts in advance.
Health and safety - we advise players to ensure they always have appropriate footwear; whilst keeping the courts clean helps, the surface may be slippery in damp, wet or frosty conditions. Inappropriate footwear may also damage the courts. It is advisable to carry a torch when accessing the courts or the pavilion in the dark.
The club is LTA registered, which means all members are eligible for free British Tennis membership giving access to Wimbledon tickets amongst other things. We have teams playing in the West Norfolk League (this year one Ladies' teams, two Men's team and two mixed teams) and an active membership of over 50 players of all ages and abilities. . We enjoy occasional social events such as pub meals, quiz nights etc and host a few fun tournaments.
