We're delighted to unveil our new Club History and Champions sections on our website and in our clubhouse.

With a proud history dating back to 1879, the club wanted to ensure the details weren’t forgotten, and were recorded in an easily accessible manner.

Members and visitors alike will be able to view the History Boards celebrating the success of the club and its members. At the moment, the boards stop at 2006 but we hope to add more information to bring things up to date by the end of this year.

The Club Champions Boards are another great addition, with some of the winners names going back to the 1920s.

The club would like to thank Susan Mackintosh for her all her work in researching and producing the History Boards. Also Pat Reid for helping Susan with lots of background material.

Thanks also to Gill and Bill Holmes, supported by Carol Williams and Rachel Bright, who took the time to research all the winners in singles & doubles in club championships from years gone by and produced the Club Champions Boards.

We hope our juniors will be inspired by the history and success of the oldest club in Scotland still on its original site.
