Just a short update - We'd just like to send out our best wishes for the Christmas Period!
Unfortunately, the odds of a white Christmas are 8/1. That being said, the warmer winter has led to us having more opportunities for tennis than we had at the same time as last year.
Covid safety reminder:
Hand sanitiser continues to be available in the clubhouse and at the entrance/exit gates. We all benefit from members taking such precautions to minimise any further spread of COVID. Regular testing, especially before occasions where social distancing is challenging, is encouraged.
Christmas Drinks:
The current news cycle is full of gloom regarding the Omicron variant. Due to this, we will be cancelling the Christmas Drinks this weekend. The Goblin will be going ahead as normal and we hope those participating enjoy a fantastic event.
Tie-break 10's:
A Tie Break 10's tournament will run on 2 Jan at 2pm. All standards are welcome! If your New Years resolution is increasing exercise this is a fantastic first event! Please let Debbie know if you want to play on 07763146034.

There are only a limited number of the history books left in stock so if you would like a copy, they are on sale behind the bar or from Peter Collinson at 89 Gores Lane and priced at only £10.

Lights:
A quick update on the lights, we've now engaged with a company to replace electrical components and bulbs to get court lighting restored to full capacity. We're waiting for confirmation from them that they've acquired all the parts they need to begin the work.
We've also actively been investigating the different LED options available to us, visiting local clubs to see different installations. As we make progress with this we will continue to update.
