Foxton Village Tennis Club

Foxton Village Tennis Club were delighted to facilitate an inaugural collaboration with Foxton Primary School on 2nd April 2025, bringing young players together for an exciting introduction to the sport.

Under a brilliant sun, children aged 4 to 11 years stepped onto the courts with energy and enthusiasm, ready to embrace the joy of tennis. Guided by our superb coach Steve Smith and the expertise of Josh Dashwood, LTA Workforce Development Partner, they honed their skills, built confidence, and shared plenty of smiles along the way.

A huge thank you to our dedicated coaches for their exceptional guidance and encouragement, and to the wonderful teachers from the school for facilitating this experience. Their support and enthusiasm helped make the session truly special, ensuring that every child had the opportunity to grow, learn, and enjoy the thrill of the game.

It was more than just a lesson—it was an inspiring session where young players discovered their potential passion for tennis in an encouraging and dynamic environment. A fantastic afternoon of learning, laughter, and love for sport! 🎾
