Quiz night

If you dread sitting around twiddling your thumbs during a pub quiz because you don't know some of the answers, then help is at hand. On Saturday 2nd July your Tennis Club will be hosting a quiz event with a difference. Believe it or not, each time that you and your team mates are asked a question you will be given the correct answer .... alongside two incorrect ones! All you will have to do is choose what you think is the right answer - so no need to gaze out of the window in despair, as you will have a three in one chance of getting it right every time.

Bob McNally will be your quiz master and, as he did last year, he will be slipping in a few silly bonus questions together with a picture quiz. There will also be a prize raffle. And it's all for charity - the locally-based James Hopkins Trust which provides practical help for severely disabled, life threatened and life limited young children with nursing needs.

The fun begins at 7 pm on 2nd July and the venue will be the clubhouse. We're not fussy about the size or age of teams but would expect to see a minimum of three and a maximum of five people at each table. If you can't form a team don't panic - we can sort things out on the night. Entry is £5 per person and you can bring your own nibbles and drinks. Bring family and friends - make it a night out.

We held a similar event last year and the atmosphere was terrific so we expect that there will be a high demand this time around. To ensure your space, book now by emailing Tom at gadzy123@gmail.com or contacting Tom on 07850964614 and you too will be able to experience the easiest quiz format ever.
