The way ahead

Joe, Calum - and also Sophie - have now left the club and we wish them all the luck in the world.  We're actively looking for replacements and we're confident that we will find a solution that is right for the club.  In the interim, we're hoping to continue our Saturday morning sessions (Cardio, drills and junior coaching) after the school half term break (i.e. returning on Saturday 11 November) .  More details will be provided as soon as we can firm up arrangements.

In the meantime,  Frampton teams are up  and running in the Winter Mixed Doubles League and the Winter O60s leagues (men and women).

Christmas Meal

This year's event will be held in The Ship, Framilode on the evening of Wednesday 6 December. Andrea Welby has kindly offered to organise it again and a separate email will be coming around with more details.  In the meantime, please make a note in your calendars!

Winter hours -change to Friday social times

With effect from Friday 3 November we will be scheduling Friday socials to begin at 2 PM, thus avoiding the need to use the lights.  We have decided not to charge for lights during Monday and Wednesday social evenings. You will see that a couple of lights are not working and we are in discussion with an electrician to fix this as soon as possible. Thanks for your patience.

Quiz - Friday 10 November

I have recently sent out details about the quiz event.  Please note that we need to inform the caterer about the food requirements by Monday 6 November so I will need all entries in by that date.  A reminder that payments (£8 per person to include a pasty) need to be sent to the club account (Sort code 30-98-29;  Acc No. 03978086) marked as 'Quiz'

Request for help

Frampton Fundraisers are seeking volunteers to help with their Fireworks Night at the Football Club premises, Whitminster Lane on Saturday 4 November.  Specifically, they need stewards to check tickets at the entry gate and assistance with a BBQ.  They would also welcome anyone willing to lend a hand in setting up/dismantling equipment on Friday 3rd and Sunday 5th. Please contact Roman Cooper - Rome@allcooperproperty.co.uk -if you are interested in helping the Fund Raisers on behalf of the tennis club.

Roadworks in December

Gloucs County Council has advised that Bridge Road (leading down to the club from the A38) will be closed for resurfacing between the hours of 9 PM and 4 PM in December. The planned start date will be Monday 4 December and the completion date is currently Monday 11 December.  Anyone accessing the club will probably have to use Whitminster Lane on occasions.
